Life Sciences
GESI works with several offshore/onshore teams engaged in biology and medical data analysis, developing new algorithms and software for data analysis and visualization. Such projects are implemented in cooperation with individual scientists and scientific organizations located throughout our Global Outsourcing network.
Some of the solutions are listed here. Our teams have other forward-looking ideas in the areas of Bioinformatics and Biomedical Sciences that have been successfully implemented in a scientific environment, which may be implemented as commercial products.
Interactive Medical Software

This user-friendly program is engineered for vascular surgeons, physicians and biomedical engineers. It helps predict the growth of an aneurysm and the probability of it rupturing. The application generates blood flow simulations through the aneurysm by automatically generating a realistic geometric model of an aneurysm. A full version of our software allows the user to perform a complete 3D post processing analysis of the aneurysm using visualization techniques.
Interactive Medical Software

A software package for recognition and visualization of transcription factor binding sites in DNA sequences. This package is a pure JavaTM application, so it can be executed on many platforms. The software uses the fastest algorithm for performing matrix-based searches, allowing quick processing of DNA sequences of any length, including whole chromosome sequences. DNA sequences can be processed in the most popular formats, including EMBL, GenBank and FASTA.
Data Analyzer for Biotechnology Research

A Java-based client-server application for the biotechnology industry. It reads, processes and corrects medical research data. It uses sophisticated algorithms for data, using sophisticated pattern recognition and error correction algorithms.
